Ingest Air is distributed through the Apple App Store, and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to your use of it. The notes below describe how the app is meant to be used and what it does not promise.
What the app does
Ingest Air reads document files you provide and produces summaries and answers using Apple Intelligence on your device. It is a reading aid.
Summaries are generated, not authoritative
Output comes from a language model and can be incomplete, misleading, or simply wrong. Do not rely on a summary for medical, legal, financial, academic, or safety decisions. Where accuracy matters, read the source. The app shows which chapters an answer drew from precisely so you can check it.
Your documents and other people's copyright
You are responsible for the files you open. Only use Ingest Air with documents you own or otherwise have the right to use. Summaries are for your personal use; republishing generated text may implicate the rights of the original author, and that is your responsibility to assess.
Availability
The app depends on Apple Intelligence, a feature of your operating system that Apple controls. If Apple changes, restricts, or withdraws it, parts of the app may stop working. Apple Intelligence may also decline to process particular content.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free, and it is not a backup service — keep your own copies of anything that matters to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the app is excluded. Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

These terms may be updated; the current version is always on this page with its date.
